Sen. Franken Tours Minneapolis Children's Hospital
On Saturday, Sen. Franken visited and toured the Minneapolis Children's Hospital where he met with patients, doctors, and administrators. Sen. Franken toured the recently-updated cardiovascular unit to see how advances in efficiency have led to better patient outcomes in a family-centered environment.
Sen. Franken spoke with doctors and administrators about how the proposed changes in Medicaid would affect the hospital and its patients.
The Children's Hospitals in Minneapolis and St. Paul have the leading neonatal intensive care units in the country and were recently named two of the top seven hospitals and clinics in the country.
