This week, Sen. Franken was proud to meet with officers from the Minneapolis police department who had driven to Washington DC to commemorate the death of Officer Richard Crittenden who was killed in the line of duty. The Minneapolis Police Department has commemorated Officer Crittenden and his fellow officers who have been killed on duty by dedicating a patrol car to their memorty. Photographs can be found here.
