Minnesota has been hit hard by the financial crisis, and our families are paying the price. I'm extremely concerned about the high rates of foreclosures in Minnesota, and the number of people who have lost all the equity in their home.
Everywhere I go in Minnesota, I hear stories of people who have lost their jobs through no fault of their own and are now in danger of losing homes they have worked for their entire lives. Owning a home is part of the American dream. I will work to fight the foreclosure crisis and to restore stability in our communities.
