Senator Franken believes that every child should have access to a world-class education-no matter where they live. But right now, too many communities struggle to find and retain enough qualified teachers. Last year, Sen. Franken's office met with education leaders in every region of the state, and heard time and time again that teacher shortages not only hurt their ability to educate students, but also take a toll on them financially.
