Addressing Climate Change and Creating Clean Energy Jobs

Climate change is an existential threat to our planet and future generations. In Minnesota, climate change is harming our agricultural and food industries, our beloved 10,000+ lakes, our expansive forests, and the health of our communities. We need to act now because the stakes are too high—and the consequences are too devastating—to leave this problem to future generations. I'm working to solve this problem on the Senate Energy and Natural Resources Committee by advocating for federal policies that support energy efficiency and renewable energy technologies—like wind and solar power. By rising to the challenge of climate change, we will not just clean up our air and improve public health, but we'll also drive innovation and create jobs.
